Nursing Post Graduate Funding (HWNZ) Application 2018

Health Workforce New Zealand (HWNZ) funding assists Registered Nurses undertaking postgraduate (level 8) Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) & New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approved papers towards a formal postgraduate qualification.

Registered Nurses working in clinical practice in the Whanganui region (Primary Health Organisations, Whanganui District Health Board, Non Government Organisations and Aged Care Sector) are invited to apply for HWNZ funding for 2018.

Applications open from August 29th and close 4.30pm Friday October 27

The Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP) is a clinically focused competency-based programme for nurses. It is a national programme, endorsed by the Nursing Council of New Zealand and the New Zealand Nurses Organisation.

Capital & Coast (CCDHB), MidCentral (MDHB) and Whanganui (WDHB) District Health Boards have aligned their PDRPs to meet the required frameworks with all information now accessible through a shared portal.
